Knurled Drives
GIESSE s.r.l. installs on its machines knurled drives that can be interchanged by the user depending on the yarn employed.
The identification number in the following table must correspond to the number punched on drive to allow a correct identification of the size that is more suitable for the yarn to produce.

General Rules for Choose of Driver
- Drivers with standard knurling (0,50)Are used either for big chenille yarn (NM 1,0 – 1,8) or for chenille yarn carried out with calibre larger of 2,5
- Drivers with fine knurling (0,30)Are used for chenille yarn from NM 2,0 to 6,0 and/or for slippery yarns (viscose, polyester etc.). With yarns like cotton, acrylic, polypropylene, wool can be used also the standard ones.
- Drivers with extra fine knurling (0,15)Are used with fine chenille yarns NM 7,0 and more.
